What you will be doing...

As a senior manager of the mobile app development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing the consumer facing mobile app. You should be demonstrating technical leadership on customer experience and latest mobile technologies. You will partner with the product, marketing and various stakeholders to deliver the best experience for Verizon customers. You will also be getting an opportunity to work on the latest technologies and innovation along with the below responsibilities.

• Manage, develop and implement mobile application to meet the organisations requirements.
• Design and optimize to ensure optimal performance and usability .
• Monitor customer feedbacks and take proactive actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver the project.
• Being passionate about learning new technologies and creating innovative solutions.
• Research and prototype new features to evaluate them for inclusion.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering teams to build the technical vision and roadmap for the team.
• Attract, hire, on-board and retain top talent, supporting and developing the team through mentorship and ongoing feedback
• Use a combination of data and instinct to make decisions and move at a rapid pace
• Strong leadership to drive consensus on requirements and to ensure decisions are made in a timely manner
• Consistent track record of developing, leading, coaching, and mentoring software engineers to deliver timely, high-quality software as a team
• Demonstrated results working in a diverse, global, collaborative team-focused environment.

What were looking for...

• Bachelors degree or six or more years of work experience.
• Experience in managing software projects/development teams.
• Strong mobile programming skills in Swift for iOS devices In-depth knowledge of iOS development frameworks and tools (Xcode, UIKit, Core Data, etc.)
• Strong technical background and analytical abilities, with experience in developing Android/iOS/Mobile applications/SDKs.
• Knowledge and experience of working on CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge and experience in backend architecture for high availability mobile application.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk mitigation.
• Understanding of AWS Cloud architecture and techniques.
• Work with all stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and release plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of app store guidelines, submission process, tracking reviews and customer feedback.
• Foster a collaborative work environment within the team.
• Oversee the entire development process, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement corrective actions.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Experience in network programming and understanding of network and web related protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS).
• Experience in video streaming clients
• Knowledge of Machine learning and Artificial intelligence.
• Knowledge of tools like Firebase, Splunk, Qlik, etc.
