BIOS Coreboot Developer - Embedded System (4-6 yrs)

What You'll Be Doing :

- BIOS/UEFI Platform Development : Design, develop, and maintain BIOS/UEFI firmware, including coreboot, for x86 architectures.

- Firmware Debugging : Conduct in-depth bug fixing directly in BIOS source code and perform advanced debugging.

- IP Validation & QA : Collaborate on IP validation and assist with BIOS QA, ensuring robust and high-quality firmware.

- UEFI Driver Development : Develop and optimize UEFI drivers.

- Platform Bring-up : Lead or significantly contribute to platform bring-up activities.

- Coreboot Upstreaming : Leverage your exposure to coreboot upstreaming to contribute to

open-source projects.

- Technical Expertise : Apply your deep understanding of coreboot boot stages, UPDs, memory maps, FSP, devicetree concepts, and payload to OS bootloader handoff.

- Protocol Implementation : Work with industry-standard protocols such as PCIe, SPI, eSPI, ACPI, and SMM.

- Open-Source Contributions : Engage in the open-source coreboot project, focusing on mainboard-related porting, including GPIO, PCIe lanes, and board FMD configurations, along with board bring-up on customer platforms.

- Intel FSP Integration : Work with and understand the Intel FSP package source code in conjunction with coreboot.

What You Must Have :

- 4+ years of experience in x86 BIOS/UEFI FSP/coreboot development.

- Expert-level proficiency in C programming language.

- Strong experience with x86 CPU/APU architectures and associated compilation tools.

- Proven experience in platform bring-up.

- Solid experience in bug fixing in BIOS source code and debugging.

- Familiarity with coreboot boot stages, FSP, and device tree concepts.

- Working experience with industry-standard protocols like PCIe, SPI, eSPI, ACPI, and SMM.

- Experience with UEFI driver development.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
