Broadcom HR policy is really bad and they do not support work from home. Even during covid19 pandemic they are forcing employees to come to office even though the work can be done from home. While other companies are giving work from home allowance for internet and home setup, Broadcom is asking employees to put their lives at risk by forcing us to come to office. Frequent layoffs every quarter even though performance is good. Not advisable to join....Read More

The company isn't employee-friendly as it had called its employees during the pandemic! I would only recommend it to people in mid-career who want a relaxed life, work-life balance and great money. Freshers should gain experience and stay no longer than 2 years in my opinion.

Worst place to work at least in Covid 19 pandemic. Employees are forced to visit office, even software professionals having complete unfractured to have WFH. We are in do and die situation. Office building having some corona cases day by day, employee has to work in this scary situation. On the top of the Layoffs happening, employees are not in the situation to raise their concern. And I found, employees are writing their reviews on GlassDoor and after publishing the reviews, it is deleted by glassdoor. It seems Broadcom giving some bribe to glassdoor to delete their bad and real reviews and writing fake reviews. Don't consider Glassdoor for any reviews. We are in a risk of life. Govt. not taking any action. Broadcom CEO is chines and may be it is china conspiracy to let them die india software professionals. No one can amazing in how much pressure Broadcom employees are working, To visit office and stay complete business day with mask, cloves and may be PPE kit, get infect with corona and take care individual family for this infection. They are not all worried about the health of employees and forcing them to come to office even if it doesn't make any difference in the productivity. Moreover wrt job security it's very dynamic in nature, even if an employee is an exceptional performer he can be sacked anytime according to the revenue generated.

Top management cannot support the employees working under them. Management is mere puppet to the rules applied by the firm, even it doesn't make sense. If the management can take strong steps to cater the needs of employees and their well being by amending the policies and nature of marketing strategies then may be employees would like to stay or else it's better to quit and switch to firm where peace of mind can be expected....Read More

CA Technologies was good. After Broadcom acquisition, things changed. Layoffs started and continued for every 3 months.

Dislikes

Worst experience. No job security. Project reallocation happens every 6 months. Boring work. No challenging work.
