Job Security: No security. More layoff in last 2 years, around 40 thousand people impacted. Employees are unable to work peacefully because of lay off fear in their minds. It is happening every month. Increment: More biased, Irregular. People who align with manager can get increment, for others nil. Promotion: Getting promotion is less, more politics and region-based favour followed for promotion. No promotion for seniors and hardworking people. If you not coming to office 5 days in week - you be threatened like no promotion, no increment, you will be in layoff list in next week. Everything that was good about Dell ended 2 years back. Nothing is good now.

No job security- frequent layoffs. They want to chase off people and not give severance, so they are trying everything in their power to make the employees more miserable and feel tortured from 5 days a week policy and no promotions. And from what I have heard extremely low or negligible salary hikes</mark>. The culture is extremely bad for a long term perspective and would take a toll on your mental health. The work that they make you do is dated and not industry relevant. So don't join dell unless you want to spoil your mental health and career....Read More

The overall bonus is ok but the yearly increment is very bad. Even with working extremely hard and overachieving targets throughout the year, you end up in 5% or 7% bracket - which is what people who do the minimum also get so it really is a huge demotivator. Internal job application is constantly encouraged, but HR will reject your resume without even screening your profile - lot of internal decisions are made by HM so HR is least bothered.
