I am working here more than 2 years, but appraisal is below 5 %. No other benefit.no any process for work culture like in morning you will got some requirements and till evening they want to build. No life for developer.

Appraisal is very low, A lot of politics do by manager and Sr Manager.

Likes

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.

Company as a whole has many business units catering to a lot of business domains and countries. The work culture is highly employee convenient and doesn't force people to be in office for designated hours a day like many other companies do. Though there are days when many of us stretch to delight our demanding customers, it all comes from within to stretch and achieve the goals. The leadership at Harman are thoroughly values driven that the positive vibes from them has directly reached every employee. Learning is a great priority set by learning and development team and every team is encouraged to benefit to learn their interested technologies. The library access is awesome providing huge options of hard/soft copy of book, both technical and non-technical. Appraisals are pretty decent across most of the business units. There are very few negatives that allows one to dislike working here. One that I can think of is, not much of long term travel opportunities like many mass companies. But business trips are quite frequently processed, that encourages people to visit client places for short period of time.

My 6+ years of work here has been a very satisfied stint. No body forces me to work long hours, but I enjoy working long hours to delight our clients and I get a sense of satisfaction when they get delighted with new features delivered.

Quarterly training provided and good trainer who give practical sessions. And job security is bit poor if you tag to project then you are safe if your project over and within one month if you not got another project then they force fully made you to resign. Regarding salary they give you very less salary in beginning only as per standard they won't meet expectations ... Hike wise they anniversary cycle hike which is good but this also depend on your project . Work and life balance is good ... Even benefits are good. Over all good company to work .......Read More
