It's a CMMI level 5 company, and has lots of processes to learn. The technologies and product though are not state of the art. Many times the processes and standards are followed only in letter rather than their spirit. Work culture is average, with lots of office gossip and internal politics going around. Salary structure is average with no variable component. HR activities are very few with the employees only taking the initiative. Not an exciting place to be working at.

Dislikes

The culture and employees behaviour is not positive. It's like everyone is on their own with lots of office politics and loose talk. Trust and respect amongst and within the teams is missing.

Work

Work is to co-ordinate between the project manager and the teams for different projects. This requires project management skills with limited application technical knowledge. Have to run around numerous meetings in a typical day, to co-ordinate across.

I have worked with Honeywell for two years and I realised that Honeywell treats their employees really bad. Nothing in Honeywell is straight forward. No HR team to support, No IT team to support, No admin team to support. Absolutely nothing! They have high standards which I appreciate but employees are the only reason a company stands and I have not enjoyed a day in Honeywell. I order to receive any sort of document you have to run around so much and by the time you receive any document which is highly important it would have been over two months.

Work

Boring, no team outings, hectic... only fun thing are the employees but in time the company makes everyone feel dumb.

I have already worked there for more than 4.5 years as a FE Analyst, I am having very good product knowledge of Honeywell components, I was working very nicely with full responsibility with my teammates. We did a nice job and our work well appreciated by our counterparts from US. In fact our work published a ASME paper in India Gas Turbine Conference which recently conducted in Bangalore.

I have worked in analyzing Engine and APU Structural components. We were working within a team with full spirit in delivering our best that we offered to our counterparts.

Team cohesion, training opportunity, salary, work environment, work-life balance are good. What else is required for an employee?

It was a 24X7 process and with tight night shift.
There used to be a bell curve in the annual appraisal and at least a team member has to be in the bottom of the bell curve even if that member is not performing upto the level of other members. so that team member will not get any annual hike in salary. I am talking about 6 years ago. I left the company 6 years ago.

Though the work was hectic sometimes during night, it was exciting.

Nothing. It was one of the worst . Managers are extremely selfish and jealous of their peers. Aero product development process is extremely poor. CBM team is the worst.

Dislikes

Just everything. They force people to do six sigma green belt certification after joining them. If it is not cleared or done they threaten on job security. They do not mention about this in offer letter or contract. Just stay away.

Because in honeywell we can learn more in IT field it will help us career growth and we have good team work in honeywell and timely we are getting our salaries.

I have giving support for printers
I was handling 50 plus printers from two buildings it's slightly difficult to handle but I have handled and I got good feedback from Clint and users as well it's good for me to work in honeywell

No job security, employees are asked to leave any time. No career growth, too much work pressure, no work life balance, no team outing, no positive ratings. Employees are forced to accept low ratings. New CEO aiming only on cost cuttings.

Hectic, horrible and difficult to survive. Live an unsecured and fearful life. Company is least bothered about employees.

The company provides a very open culture where you can share your ideas freely. Work culture is good and co-workers are very friendly. Provides opportunities for training and skill development. Provides a very good work-life balance. There are enough growth opportunities within the company

Trainings and other facilities are good. My team is just pathetic, no team work, no respect for others, no appreciation, politics at it's worst. I work for HPS and things are little cribby

Dislikes

My team and manager after management restructuring, happen to be the worst. Company is good overall but one should be lucky to be in right team. No wfh facility and work can be hectic at times.
