Yokogawa product range and company culture before 2017

Dislikes

Company culture gradually deteriorated since 2017. Appraisal process is opaque. Increments have no relations with PMS or performance but based on perception. People with good technical knowledge are discouraged. Not a company which encourages long term career.

Very Good Culture,. Learning is totally depends on individual,. Yokogawa Products are very robust & good. Sites are equally divided among all Engineers. Executive Manager is very friendly & supportive.

Dislikes

No Promotion,..all employees are not equally treated. Very less basic salary. Site allowance are very less & not revised from last 10 years. Reporting Manager don't resolve engineer's issues,.in fear of not getting Next PO.

The only one benefit i can see is job security

Work-life balance is hell you can not even say No to working on weekends the management will force you to do so; there is no overtime for weekends. Promotion and appraisal are fixed you will be judged based on the bell curve, they already predecided the engineers based on that graph, and appraisal is also judged based on how much travel you are doing, if you are doing more travel overseas you will get average raise so that they can balance out everyone</mark>. which is not fair every time. No support for skill development, even if you want to pursue higher education or anything, they have a policy for it but nobody supports it. work satisfaction and company culture is also like hell....Read More
