Salary is good. You can always expect your package to be better than your last but still less than your peers. It is confidential information so you can't be sure but you can definitely see people less contributing but getting paid more than you. So you know that if you want a good or great hike this is where you go.

Dislikes

No work life balance. Everything works on hierarchy. Even if it's a startup, your opinion if of no value. Every idea of yours is thrown into the trash and bypassed saying it's higher management's decision. The company doesn't know what it wants to be at all. It's does everything but not one thing perfectly. All they care about is becoming a unicorn and thats all.

No Job Security, worst company for career anything without any communication they will terminate any employee and no pay your salary hikes, an other benefits like variable pay etc.

work life balance is good, only because no one is there to see whats actually happening on the floor. I would recommend this job, only if you are looking for some time pass. You cannot expect much learning or growth. Chingari is in huge losses, they are living and surviving on the funding they have raised in past. Please be aware and do not join here for long term.

Several Management and leadership issues displayed by the entire upper management and the Founder himself- Sumit Ghosh. There is a lack of vision which eventually impacts employees working on ground. Sumit Ghosh and upper management has displayed an attitude which can come across as dismissive and disrespectful. There seems to limited engagement and communication which makes it difficult to address critical concerns. They love to open a new vertical every other month leading to more confusion and difficulty. Mohit Gupta who is the head of growth is another clueless person who just talks in circle. He has literally paid zero attention to actual growth and of course to hide his incapability has come up with new vertical, AstroLive. Given his approach and Founder's attitude, it raises question on how successful Astrolive would be.

I recently completed my internship at Chingari as a Product Analyst Intern, and it was an enriching experience. I primarily worked on the Web3 aspects, particularly on the Gari project, which was a new and exciting learning opportunity for me. My manager, Ankush, stands out as one of the best I've ever worked with. He was incredibly supportive and took the time to help me understand concepts from the ground up. The team was amazing, and the administration made the onboarding process smooth and seamless. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend Chingari for anyone looking to grow in the field of product management.
