No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Seniors are good enough to be work with. Subordinates are also very friendly.

Dislikes

...nt to state that please don't join this organization if you want peaceful exit. They are going to do bond and if you are going to leave early then they are not going to pay anything for the notice period time. I even paid 1 lakh extra to smooth reliving. They are threaten us for ruining our career by doing wrong review in your background verification. I was feeling devastated.

Partiality between Old & New employees. No team hierarchy structure. Lot of restriction on junior employees like primary school. Poor work culture. No work form Home policy, No C-Off policy, No rewards policy. Employees says it is totally lala type company (Family Owned Business). No ventilation. Old/Second hand furniture&fixture. No proper cleaning. Less holidays. Less CL, No sick leave.
