GF salary Vs. My salary
Me and my gf have been dating for 5 years. Back in 2020, I started my career with a package of ₹5 LPA. Over the years, I’ve reached ₹22 LPA in 2025. She started her journey with ₹3 LPA(2020) and is now earning ₹8 LPA(2025). We’ve been in a live-in relationship for around 2 years, and the idea was to share expenses equally. But, equal sharing never really happened. If we go to a café she likes, especially with friends, I will pay the entire bill. We only split the house rent and grocery bills. I told her lots of time to cut down these costly cafe expenses or earn more money, increase your package, study and work hard, but.....she is now in her comfort zone. Being from a tech background, I have seen people upgrade their skills and package for a good life in metro cities. I am ready to support her in her studies, but she is like I am earning enough for myself.... No, you are not. I love her, but I don't know how to overcome this issue between us. Please suggest!

Not at all.I always cook food with company passion, standard maintain hygiene checklist book while working with company. Even graduate in hotel management and 9 years of experience in industry with Marriott Scotland, Costa cruise Italy and Four seasons Mumbai. For making Four seasons Mansion banquet successful as a supervisor always work long hours with no benefit and pramotion finally event made it succesful even in absense of sous chef.I prepare food for in room dining special guest who have special diatery requirement from whom we got positive feedback. On other hand treatment given during pandamic was horrible. I was first person to report at begining of pandamic.Later they ask me to leave company. For for simple reason we don't have business. There are still some employee still on the job. Finally if company putting restriction that we can't do part time job while working with company then they should take care of their employee.

The company has very high work ethics and one gets to experience very high level of hospitality!!

Despite having strong resume of international exposure and long working hours the pay scale or the wages are very low !! I am not very sure how one is supposed to live a comfortable life with that much of money !!! There is no negotiation done about the salary prior to accepting the job offer, so if one needs the job they should take it otherwise there is more cheaper labor is available for same position...! I was sure that I was over qualified for the job !! Also when I saw someone hired on much higher position with lesser skill set even just basic language fluency in English! And the news was that particular person was hired with someone’s reference ! This just demotivates person and wastes their time as they have to climb the ladder again ...!! But again this is not case with this particular hotel as almost all the hotels in Mumbai offer similar pay scale !! It’s really in human...! Because the basic salary hasn’t increased in so many years as when I was a fresher and joined the industry my basic salary was little more higher but when I came back with much higher degree ( MBA), more exposure of working internationally in good brands, my basic was even lower !!! I thought this was a joke but I had to take the job as I did not wanted to sit at home !! Those 2 years I works very hard achieved awards and recognition but less remuneration!! I am not upset with the brand but with the entire industry pay scale in hotels !!

I wish i could say that four seasons bengaluru is the best place to work with but can't coz the reason is they will betray you when you were thinking that you have made a great choice by choosing that company. The management is so not good. I have faced humiliation at my work. Then they make stupid comparisons and cover it by saying that was just a metaphor, but yea jz a little advice for the management that if you want to use the metaphors use it in a way that the other person's feeling doesn't get hurt, managers job is to motivate there people not to make them hate themselves.
