No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

You can take any decision without any approval .this is not good things for system

Dislikes

Hr policy of company not good. PF deduction and basic salary fixed (16K) for each level.no performance measurements system available in company for increment .(Flat 6 % increments and frequency not decided only depend on Sale).Sale fluctuation is very high due to poor marketing strategy.Some department hod have no technical knowledge and qualifications criteria not defined .(Technical department qualification is 10th class). Work environment is not good for worker and staff person.(Pollution level very high , dust particle of silica floated every where on shop floor). Managment failed to maintained hierarchy level in company.Job security is very big concern due to sale variation.Overall company works like a lala type company and thats not good for a good company.There is no on job training for staff.

Nothing good at MSL (JCBL) ,I suggest to everyone even if you do not have job not apply for job in this company. JCBL is lala type company .no system in organization . Management do not about quality .HR working in this group as like a dictator.
