No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?

In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Politics & More politics, In place of promotion changes the role like demotion. I am working from last 3.5 year but due to heavy poltics i quit the Job with Nykaa. No one want to listen you even you Hardworking employee or Get any REWARDS & RECOGNITION Award. Manager are thinking he is the God of Nykaa and broken the friendship of my colleagues with me to create politics In the team. If you want to tale leave you need to show proof every time and drop email as well to VP and Manager even someone died in your family.

Too much stress for business,Area/ops manager calling and pressurizing entire day,if the day target is not achieved then ur Area manager will ask u the reason at night and won’t let u sleep seems u have done a crime. As store sale is very uncertain specially at nykaa stores so there are chances that the superiors may start a con call any time even its weekend or evening business time.store managers day off is fixed on Tuesday but specially on Tuesday there are bunch of work load there.

The cluster manager sunny was the worst leader to work with..this guy doesn't know anything except shouting on store team. He has no guts to say wrong to the person who is wrong but keep buttering ladies of the store. He only needs women attention and hate boys. Promotes favourite girl who can't handle the problem.
