Oberoi group of hotels is a big name and it deems fit that it holds an importance in the industry. Being part of the company for so many years, I realise the service standards are indeed commendable. Lots to learn and various opportunities to execute your learnings as well.

Dislikes

...nvironment is pretty strict - like we are stuck in the British era of hierarchy. Which means, there is a significant difference in pay among lower and higher management. Less transparency and often gaslighting employees with promises / information.

Likes

Everything about The Oberoi group is good except the pay scale and career growth. It's slower here than any other company. However, during Covid 19, I was provided with an opportunity to work from home which proved fine for my family and to retain my job as well.i

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike about my company. The only grievance I would like to express, if at all would be the pay scale. Else, everything is fine.

Likes

Oberoi conducts many training sessions to keep its standards & the way it is up as always. The safety & care it takes for employees who are in the group is outstanding. And the encouragement​ it gives in different ways will make you work even more better. The staff, is one of the best asset to the group. If you enter any of the Oberoi Hotel you'll never see someone addressing his/her fellow colleagues as sir/ma'am. Even the General Manager is also used to be called as Vidhi though his name is Mr. Visheswar Raj Singh. Finally it's a wonderful place to work for.

Dislikes

Oberoi is known for its brand and the impeccable standards it follows. But when it comes to staff and their salary, it only pays a huge amount to HOD's and Managers & Executives and not the Associates. And at last for not providing accommodation facilities for boys though they came from different states of India and provides accommodation facilities for ladies.

Working in oberoi hotels helps you to make present minded and to work in busy environment and to tackle in difficult situations.

Dislikes

There is no work-life balance in oberoi hotels and no recognition for ur work, less salary no promotions and shifts hours goes for at least 11 hrs to 14 hrs and u won't receive comp offs or extra salary for over times also te mana management very poor they don't know how to manage staffing and their always understaff and hires only freshers no a single experience person to held other staffs they are just money oriented company and they don't care about their staff. Think 100 times before joining this organisation.

Salary is much less than industry standard No work life balance and very long working hours No employee benefits The program is of one year duration and they will promise a salary increase after completion, but they will keep giving extension notices, with no transparency about the confirmation process
