You will feel like going to a govt job as there is no proper process or work culture in place. If you want to be in a lazy environment run by only internal politics of veterans serving for 20+ years in the company then it will suit you.

Dislikes

No proper process, no work culture, too much internal politics. Don't even think about salary hikes and promotions. You will be forced to WFO and deprived of leaves. Continuous forced resignations and layoffs. Threatening to terminate if people don't resign on their own. Skill development only through self learning. HR wing is a dummy thing. Only for attendance remainders as it's all driven by internal politics rather than any policy.

First HR will give you false promises the start negotiation very less salary hike was given. The when you join seeing the reputation of tata it turned to be waste. Your managers are worst. Work is all about SI ,if you are a developer donot waste time here. People are working like robots...

Tata Elxsi office and work life balance specially for girls.

Salary not upto mark. Only near and dear ones get the short time good salary hikes along with promotion. No hydrid office policy for people on bench pool.

Good learning for upskill in any available project but not as per choice and skills.

...nal opportunity. Like Trivendram only. Poor management for project allocations. Sent to client location for projects and no compensation for travel.

Work life balance and opportunities to learn. Also to some extent job security. Flexible in many matters. Not too far from my home is a big advantage. Rejected Infy offer for reason to travel too far. It makes you self efficient. Teaches you lot of lessons to handle you on your own.

...be no link between your grades your designation and actual work. Spineless HR's. Salary is average not market standards. 0 benefits, no recognition, No team building, No team lunch, No team outing, In a year you get a dairy and a pen that to if you collect. Being an Indian company don't even have budget to distribute sweets. I want to stop here don't want to take it to next lower level.
