No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Except salary nothing is great about this company , legacy technologies, no growth opportunities, Managers are with the company since inception especially in CCIBT lob , Managers are so toxic.

I don’t like the culture . It’s full of politics, toxic culture and micromanagement. No growth opportunities. Managers are weaponising their power to rate their staff during performance reviews. Stay away from this company to protect your peace of mind. I ended up in depression after joining and working in CCIBT lob , most of the managers in this LOB know each other and they are friends and promote each other and very biased.

One of the major challenges at Wells Fargo International Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, was the work environment. Career growth opportunities were limited, with minimal recognition for contributions. Additionally, team dynamics were not always supportive, and trust issues within the team made collaboration difficult. A more positive and encouraging culture could significantly improve the overall experience.

Work life balance and pay is good as per norms.

Dislikes

There is absolutely no job security like in TCS, infosys or even in companies like Accenture, employees have some resistance to lay off. But in company like wells Fargo, there is 0 job security. Employees who joined were put into PIP and removed the same year they joined. Please do not join wells if you looking for job security. They will intentionally put resources in bad rating.
