Round 1 - Aptitude Test

My Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from T.J.S. Polytechnic College has laid a strong foundation for my career as a Design Engineer. The comprehensive curriculum at the college equipped me with theoretical knowledge in areas such as machine design, thermodynamics, and material science, which I have successfully applied in my professional roles. For example, during my tenure at RENAULT & NISSAN Pvt Ltd, I utilized my understanding of machine design principles to optimize vehicle production processes. Similarly, my knowledge of thermodynamics was valuable during my time at APOLLO TYRES Pvt Ltd, where I contributed to quality control initiatives. Overall, my academic background has not only provided me with technical expertise but also instilled in me a problem-solving mindset that is essential for success in the field of design engineering.

Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - As a Design Engineer, my passion for design drives me to create innovative and efficient solutions that address real-world challenges. One project that exemplifies my commitment to design is when I was tasked with redesigning a critical component in a vehicle assembly line at RENAULT & NISSAN Pvt Ltd. Drawing on my passion for creating impactful designs, I leveraged my CAD software proficiency to develop a more streamlined and cost-effective solution. Through rigorous prototyping and testing, I was able to validate the performance of the redesigned component, showcasing how my passion for design translates into tangible results that benefit the organization. This experience reinforced my belief that a genuine love for designing is key to driving continuous improvement and innovation in engineering.

Nailed the interview, still rejected
Just had the BEST interview ever – super positive and encouraging! But got rejected. Interviewer said I was the most prepared, knew it was a full-time role (unlike others), and loved my answers. One of my questions was even called "the best ever asked!" He showed me around, said I was exactly what they wanted, and would get back by Friday. I was so hyped! Then today, I got the rejection email. No reason given, just "went with someone else." Feels bad when your best isn't enough. Anyone else been there? How'd you cope?

  • Q4. What is CMOS Latchup
  • Ans.

CMOS latchup is a phenomenon in integrated circuits where parasitic thyristors are inadvertently triggered, causing a short circuit.

    • CMOS latchup occurs when a parasitic structure in the CMOS device acts as a thyristor, leading to a low-impedance path between the power supply rails.

    • It can result in excessive current flow, potentially damaging the device.

    • Preventive measures include layout techniques, guard rings, and pro...
