Summary:As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for overseeing the application development process and ensuring successful project delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.- Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.- Lead the application development team in designing and implementing software solutions.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.

Its very much process oriented and no deviation from policy/process is expected. The offices are great and you will have opportunity to work with the best clients in the world. You also have opportunity to work on latest technology and lots of learning.
As you go up, you will be pissed off by the management policies. Even though you get to learn new skills/tools you dont have option to chose project matching to your skills. You can be landed randomly to a project where you have total skill mismatch. In hand salary is much lesser when compared to other CMM Level 5 service based companies.
