Job Title: HR Assistant

Location: Kolkata

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations in our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in employee onboarding, attendance management, documentation, compliance, and coordination between the HR department and factory floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and documentation of new employees and contract labor.
  
• Maintain and update employee records (both physical files and digital systems).
  
• Track and monitor daily attendance, leaves, and shift schedules using biometric systems or manual registers.
  
• Coordinate with production supervisors for workforce requirements.
  
• Handle employee queries related to HR policies, leaves, payroll, etc.
  
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company HR policies.
  
• Prepare and maintain HR reports, MIS, and HR-related data in Excel/Google Sheets.
  
• Coordinate training sessions, awareness programs, and employee engagement activities.
  
• Assist in payroll inputs such as attendance, overtime, and leave deductions.
  
• Support audits and ISO documentation related to HR.
  

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Google Sheets).
  
• Knowledge of labor laws, factory act, and compliance documentation.
  
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
  
• Ability to multitask and handle field-level coordination.
  
• Male candidates preferred due to factory floor coordination (if applicable).
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with HRMS or biometric systems.
  
• Exposure to ISO audits or compliance processes.
  
• Basic understanding of payroll processing.
