ABOUT THE JOB :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist with 4-5 years of experience specializing in Generative AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP). Based in our Pune (Viman Nagar) office with a hybrid work model, you will be instrumental in developing and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions that leverage the power of large language models (LLMs) and deep learning techniques. You will work on exciting, AI-driven projects, contributing to the growth and innovation of our products and services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art Generative AI and NLP models for various applications.

- Research, evaluate, and apply advanced techniques in LLMs, attention mechanisms, and deep learning relevant to text generation, understanding, and processing.

- Build and optimize data pipelines for training and fine-tuning large language models.

- Develop and deploy models into production environments, working closely with engineering teams.

- Utilize Python and relevant libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain for model development and implementation.

- Implement and manage MLOps practices to ensure model reliability, scalability, and maintainability in the cloud.

- Work hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for model training, deployment, and

monitoring.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into

technical solutions.

- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to derive insights and improve model performance.

- Stay updated with the latest research and developments in Generative AI, NLP, and machine learning.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our AI/ML infrastructure and processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.

- 4-5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist with a strong focus on Generative AI and NLP.

- Mandatory expertise in Generative AI techniques, Large Language Models (LLMs), and

Attention Mechanisms.

- Strong programming skills in Python.

- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

- Proven experience with LangChain or similar frameworks for developing LLM-based

applications.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP) for building

and deploying machine learning models.

- Experience with MLOps principles and practices (e.g., model versioning, deployment

pipelines, monitoring).

- Solid understanding of core NLP concepts, techniques, and algorithms.

- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

BONUS POINTS :

- Experience with fine-tuning or pre-training large language models.

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Experience with ML flow or other MLOps tools.

- Contributions to open-source NLP or Generative AI projects.
