Sap Abap Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Deep ABAP development experience including ABAP on HANA & ABAP OO development Strong understanding of Web / Enterprise Services including ABAP Proxy and SAP API Expert IDOC enhancement and ALE/IDOC Responsibility
• Exposure around any of the front-end technologies like SAP FIORI or WebDynpro will be an added advantage e Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Expertise in enhancing standard SAP functionality leveraging standard enhancements framework User exists, Business Transaction Events (BTE), Business Add Ins (BADI), Enhancement Spots (Implicit & Explicit).
• Strong experience in ABAP on HANA, AMDP, code push down techniques, CDS views, Business Object Processing Framework(BOPF) and backend oData services, Knowledge of front-end Fiori development (HTMLS/CSS/JavaScript).
• Experience in developing applications using object-oriented programming techniques.
• Transform traditional ABAP programs in legacy SAP system into S/4 HANA architecture. Design and implement CDS and AMDP based on the business requirement.
• Having knowledge around Complex ABAP programming, testing and debugging functions related to the implementation of SAP modules.
• Involve in change management, incident management, problem management as per ITIL framework.
• Drive the HANA support process and ensure compliance of project standards and deliverables.
• Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project.
• Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
• Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions
• Experience in developing applications in various modules including FI/CO/SD/MM/PP/QM
