Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead B2B sales efforts in the mechanical engineering sector. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record in industrial sales, team leadership, and customer relationship development.

📍 Location: New Delhi region, Hybrid (office/client visits)
💼 Position: Full-time, permanent contract
🧠 Experience: 710+ years in B2B sales, preferably mechanical engineering
🕐 Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard work hours
📅 Start Date: Optimal – March 20, 2025 | Latest – April 15, 2025

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and exceed personal and team sales targets
  • Identify new business opportunities and engage new B2B clients
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
  • Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports and CRM updates
  • Support sales strategy development and implementation
  • Participate in industry exhibitions and trade events
  • Train and mentor junior team members
  • Work cross-functionally with production and marketing departments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Sales, or related field
  • 7+ years of proven B2B sales experience
  • Expertise in mechanical engineering sales is a strong advantage
  • Deep understanding of complex equipment sales cycles
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to structure and manage full sales pipeline independently
  • Fluent in Hindi and English
  • Strong PC and CRM skills (Excel, reporting tools, etc.)
  • Male candidate, aged 35–50 (due to team balance)
  • New Delhi region residency preferred
  • Driver’s license and vehicle – a plus
  • Home office setup: personal laptop, reliable internet
