Deputy Manager - Global Process Improvement

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Lean methodology- seven waste, VSM (Value stream mapping) and Kaizen
• Six Sigma & hands-on in statistical tools (DOE, capability analysis, hypothesis testing, control charts, gauge study, Pareto etc)
• TPM and TQM
• Structural problem solving using 8D methodology
• Manufacturing Technology (Efficiency improvement, enhance productivity and improved quality)
• Program management
• Core tools: APQP- Advance Product Quality Planning, P-FMEA-Process- Failure Mode Effect Analysis and SPC- Statistical Process Control)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible to drive the global QA and PI projects (Assist in DOE, trials and solution exploration) & liaising with cross functional team such as technology/C&I/Operations
• Liaising with regional Process improvement teams to share the best practices and deploying improvements
• Drive the Zero defect program globally to ensure effective deployment
• Responsible for developing global P-FMEA and control plan for CTQ and deploy in the regions/plants
• Owner of GPS (global practice sharing) program
• Responsible for Identifying and developing the programs for lesson learned to reduce claims
• Support plants in structural problem solving using 8D methodology and statistical tools
• Co-ordinate with regional teams and R&D to develop the process setting and test method for new products/machines/processes
• Test methods development to reduce testing error, bring efficiency, reduce cost and lead time.
• Responsible for developing customer process database to continuously improve product quality
