Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Complete management, support, fine tuning, security, maintenance and operation of Database of Dial 112.
Provide a strategic database direction for the organization.
Regular backup of database as defined by Police.
Ensuing high availability of Dial 112 Application & Database.
Troubleshooting of Dial 112 Applications and Database related issues.
Cooperating with PMC and Police and furnishing data/reports as required by PMC.
Any global certification in Database administration.
Preferred:
- Strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and normalization
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with one or more RDBMS platforms (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with database monitoring and performance tuning tools
- Knowledge of backup, restore, recovery models, and disaster recovery planning
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, PowerShell) for automation
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently, including in a 24x7 environment (if required)
