IMS Learning Resources - Lead Mentor - Quants (3-10 yrs)

Job Description:

1. Lead classes to deliver assigned curriculum

2. Guide and train students at all levels to help them achieve score improvement benchmarks set by IMS.

3. Mentor and guide students at all levels to achieve their highest scores on the Test day

4. Respond to or escalate student related issues as they arise.

5. Partner with academics support staff to ensure student needs are met.

6. Take various tests both actual (like CAT) and IMS internal tests as stipulated by academics staff.

7. Learn and retain knowledge related to all aspects of the test such as knowledge of test format, dates offered, test enrolment process and admission timelines.

Skills required for the job: (Leadership/ Team orientation/ team building/ presentation/ analysis and problem solving, communication)

1. Fluent in both written and spoken English.

2. Presentation skill.

3. Mentoring skill.

4. Ability to engage and motivate students.

5. Ability to learn on the job.

6. Ability to teach/train comfortable with groups.

7. Good scores on any of the major tests such as CAT, GMAT or GRE will be an added advantage

Qualification:

Desired: Post-Graduate with passion for Math (Quant)

Mandatory- Candidates should be a M.Sc. (Maths/Phy/Stats), B.E., B. Tech., M. Tech., (Math)

Previous Experience: Candidate with Prior Teaching experience would be preferred.
