About the Role:

- We are seeking a business leader to drive the culture, talent, operations, and service delivery of our India organization.
- As the India Head of Culture, Growth, and Operations, you will lead cross-functional initiatives that strengthen our professional services, administrative operations, people functions, and brand presence in Gujarat.
- You'll operate with high autonomy, taking ownership of business execution in India while ensuring deep alignment with Injala's mission, product strategy, and global standards.
- A technical background is essential-you will be operating within a product company and must be able to understand, communicate, and reinforce product-driven ways of thinking across teams.
- This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, culture, execution, and growth.
What You'll Own:
Champion "The Injala Way":
- Reinforce Injala's Vision, Mission, and Core Values throughout every team and initiative in India.
Lead Business Operations in India:
- Oversee the day-to-day functioning of Injala's India operations, with direct responsibility for professional services, administrative support, and workforce performance.
Drive Team Independence & Execution:
- Lead the shift toward operational self-sufficiency in India, reducing dependency on the U.S team while maintaining global coordination and quality standards.
- Orchestrate High-Performing Product Teams:
- Guide product-aligned teams toward tighter alignment, velocity, and impact.
- Help maintain a fast-moving, ownership-driven, and outcome-focused environment.
Create and Develop Top Talent:
- Hire "A players" - sharp thinkers with curiosity, grit, and growth potential.
- Identify, mentor, and develop high-potential employees into future leaders.
- Deliver tough feedback and handle performance issues decisively but constructively.
Drive Talent Brand and Outreach:
- Build Injala's employer brand in Gujarat through campus outreach, community presence, and tech events.
- Represent Injala at universities, conferences, and hackathons to attract and engage top-tier talent.
Own Office & Admin Functions:
- Manage office administration, including facilities, vendor management, supplies, and local compliance.
- Oversee HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, documentation, and employee engagement.
- Support finance-related admin (e.
, invoicing, expense coordination, and payroll support).
- Lead the upcoming move to a new office and ensure a thriving workspace.
Implement and Drive OKRs:
Launch and sustain an effective OKR framework across the India team, connecting local output to company-wide objectives and priorities.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in tech-driven companies, ideally with exposure to both product development and business operations.
- Strong understanding of what it means to work in a product company versus a services firm.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, including HR, admin, talent, and delivery.
- Demonstrated success building high-performing, culturally aligned teams.
- A technical background (engineering, product, or systems) with the ability to understand and reinforce how software products are built and scaled.
- Experience with OKRs, leadership development, and driving independent execution across regions.
- Strong presence in or connection to Gujarat's tech ecosystem is a plus.
