Job Description
Our client is seeking a consultant with 9+ years of experience to work as a lead business analyst on a CCR risk engine migration project. This migration is aimed at enhancing scalability, performance, and compliance with regulatory requirements while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Work closely with business users, risk managers, and regulatory teams to gather and document requirements for the CCR reporting migration
- Perform an independent gap assessment of the existing analytical models and the third- party analytical engine
- Collaborate with bank / vendor teams to perform impact analysis, RF scenario generation (with correlation) parameters check, and independent replication of sample portfolio across asset classes
- Execute deep dive quantitative testing and stress scenario PFE testing
- Validate netting methodology
- Iterative risk calculation validation, with test cases update for discrepancies
- Create BRD / FRD, capturing the migration and target state needs
- Establish a data governance hierarchy and align SLAs with business objectives and stakeholder requirements
- Provide Clear and detailed documentation, with continuous update
- Prioritise and triage issues with stakeholders
- Provide provision for alternate reports for parallel run
- Provide go-live and warranty support and readiness report
- Resolve post-go-live issues and logs
Lead the offshore team

Skills:
- In depth understanding of Credit Risk treatment of various trade structures, along with an understanding of capital requirements set out by BASEL committee
- In depth understanding of Banking products including OTC/ETD Derivatives and SFT transactions.
- Ability to clearly articulate action plan to achieve all project milestones and calling out risk proactively
- Exceptionally effective communication skills, adaptive learner, and collaborator
- Cross functions experience in handling issues with Risk, IT and other business lines involved in the process.
- Good understanding of the regulatory landscape
