Honestly, nothing stands out. Everything seems to have its flaws.

1. Poor Leadership at the Associate Director Level: The Associate Directors, especially in the IT department, are among the most difficult to work with. They often behave arrogantly, as if they own the company, and speak to employees in a disrespectful manner. They take frequent leaves themselves but hesitate to approve even our entitled paid leaves, giving random excuses. Employee well-being is not a priority for them—they only focus on results, often achieved by mistreating staff. If you raise genuine concerns, they take it personally and may terminate you by fabricating issues to HR. While some Directors and Senior Directors are calm and professional, the Associate Directors lack basic courtesy and professional behavior. Many of them act in an unrefined manner and fail to appreciate talent—they treat people disrespectfully. 2. Lack of Meritocracy & Biased Appraisals: The company is currently facing losses and layoffs, which was expected because they majorly have reference people without talent. hardworking and skilled employees don’t receive fair recognition or salary hikes. A large percentage of the workforce is made up of internal referrals and relatives of senior leaders, especially Associate Directors in IT depart. These persons often receive undeserved promotions and generous appraisals, while the genuinely talented employees are either sidelined or laid off. It’s frustrating to see that those who barely contribute continue to enjoy benefits simply because of internal references. 3. Toxic Work Culture & Politics: Office politics is at its peak, primarily driven by Associate Directors and some Managers. They often take credit for others’ work and hide the contributions of hardworking employees from senior leadership. The work environment feels oppressive, with unrealistic pressure, including on weekends. Unless you are in the good books of these leaders or have strong internal references, your growth is limited. There is very little appreciation or reward for genuine effort. Other Concerns: Despite branding itself as a “Great Place to Work” and being a rating agency, CRISIL has failed to introspect and improve its internal management practices. There have been salary delays, and HR is practically non-functional when it comes to supporting employees. Biasness in everything whether its pay, promotions, or rewards. I joined Crisil in 2021 and even after having an MBA I joined here, and they provided me with lowest designation (JRA) ~ THE HR took the advantage of covid. Even though the people who graduated with me had RA/MT designation (9-10A). Now, three years after that they still paying me less than what a fresher earns. I was still at 9A level, and the pay was much less around. Plus, if there is any opening in the team where you think to move, they will offer that role to their favorite colleagues. Some people here who are sitting here in CRISIL think they have a Sarkari Naukri. The so-called great place to work is just very depressing. No at all worth it. What are they offering 3.5 LPA to freshers are you seriously in 2024? and then you say we also started with the same pay? You started in 2012 that was a freaking 12 years ago now its 2024. Its so bad that a company publishing all financial data is itself not paying its employees as per market standards....Read More
