Database Administrator - Oracle Applications (8-14 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle Applications DBA with hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Cloud (PaaS/IaaS), and Infrastructure Management. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of system administration, database design, patching, cloning, automation, and performance tuning across on-premise and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and manage Oracle EBS, BI, and EPM applications including automated cloning.

- Manage Oracle databases including design, partitioning, indexing, backup (RMAN), recovery, and disaster recovery across the full stack.

- Perform environment management tasks, including automated cloning, patching (adpatch mechanism), and performance tuning.

- Oversee system administration on both RHEL and Windows Server OS.

- Implement and manage security, patch deployments (CPU), password policies, and access controls.

- Handle Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and Oracle Internet Directory (OID) for authentication

and authorization.

- Support Oracle Cloud Tenancy Management and integration layers.

- Monitor storage, tablespaces, archive logs, and manage capacity planning.

- Maintain outage communications, weekend work coordination, and user/system

administration.

- Execute and automate CRON jobs and UNIX shell scripts for scheduled tasks.

- Provide support in cloning, startup, and shutdown of Oracle applications and environments.

- Manage AD groups, Single Sign-On (SSO), Active Directory integration, and role-based access.

Required Skills :

- Oracle EBS/ERP administration and patching (adpatch)

- Oracle Cloud Tenancy and PaaS/IaaS experience

- Performance tuning, Oracle optimizer, and execution plan analysis

- RMAN backup and recovery strategies

- Oracle database design, partitioning, indexing

- EBS, BI, EPM cloning (manual and automated scripting)

- Active Directory, SSO, Azure AD integration

- RHEL and Windows Server OS administration

- Shell/Unix scripting and CRON job management

- SQL & PL/SQL proficiency

- Experience with Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and Oracle Internet Directory (OID)

- Application, CPU patch deployment and security management

Preferred / Nice to Have :

- Experience in managing Oracle Cloud Integration Layer

- Hands-on with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migration and integration

- Exposure to automated performance testing and environment monitoring tools
