MegThink - Finance Specialist (2-3 yrs)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance Specialist role who is highly detail-oriented and well-versed in managing day-to-day financial operations. The role involves handling invoicing, payroll processing, taxation, statutory compliance, and general accounting using Tally ERP. The ideal candidate will also support audit processes and contribute to financial reporting and planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage client and vendor invoicing and ensure timely follow-ups for payments.

- Handle complete payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, and disbursements.

- Ensure compliance with tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax).

- Prepare and file statutory returns (PF, ESI, PT, etc.).

- Maintain and update accurate financial records in Tally ERP.

- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.

- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and cash flow projections.

- Coordinate with vendors, auditors, and government bodies as required.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 2-3 years of proven experience in finance or accounting roles.

- Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles and Indian tax regulations.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

- Certification in Tally or any recognized payroll system.

- Experience working in small to mid-sized companies or accounting firms.

- Familiarity with audit support and financial documentation best practices.
