Cluster Sales Manager - Steel Industry (3-5 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth and revenue targets for the assigned cluster (Chennai & Hyderabad).
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, distributors, contractors, and channel partners.
- Drive B2B sales efforts by understanding client needs and providing tailored steel product solutions.
- Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure timely order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Lead and mentor a small team of sales executives or territory managers (if applicable).
Key Requirements :
- 3-5 years of proven sales experience in the steel industry or allied sectors (construction materials, TMT bars, pipes, etc.).
- Strong network and market knowledge in the Southern region, especially Chennai and Hyderabad.
- Degree in any discipline. Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) or MBA preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive results in a competitive market.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
