Senior Qa Engineer - Java + Playwright

📝 Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 58 years of experience in manual and automation testing to ensure the highest quality of our web, mobile, and API-based applications. A strong understanding of Playwright, Selenium, and API testing (REST & GraphQL) is required.

Candidates with experience in eCommerce domain and strong collaboration skills are preferred.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to define test requirements.
  
• Perform manual and automation testing of web, mobile, and API services.
  
• Design and execute test cases for RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  
• Develop automation test scripts using Playwright, Selenium in JavaScript or Java.
  
• Track and report bugs using JIRA.
  
• Maintain detailed test documentation and quality metrics.
  
• Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance testing efficiency.
  

🛠️ Required Skills:

• 5+ years of QA experience (manual + automation).
  
• Strong functional testing knowledge.
  
• Experience with Playwright (preferred) or other automation tools like Selenium.
  
• Good scripting skills in JavaScript or Java.
  
• API Testing experience with tools like Postman.
  
• Experience in writing test plans, test reports, and documenting security vulnerabilities & coverage metrics.
  
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  
• Exposure to eCommerce domain is a plus.
