Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Set clear sales objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching to the sales team.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, plans, and forecasts to achieve company sales goals.
- Manage the sales team's daily activities, including lead generation, sales calls, presentations, and closing deals.
- Ensure the sales team adheres to company sales processes and procedures.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, address challenges, and plan strategies.
- Recruit, hire, and train new sales team members.
- Evaluate sales team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the company's customer base and market share.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Identify and target key accounts and develop strategies to win new business.
- Develop and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking and forecasting of sales opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients.
- Understand client needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
- Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Act as a point of contact for client escalations.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to existing clients.
- Manage the sales budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Utilize CRM software (Salesforce, Zoho CRM) to track sales activities, manage customer data, and generate reports.
- Implement and maintain sales processes and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales data.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, and operations, to achieve company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent client relationship management and customer service skills.
- In-depth knowledge of market trends and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of managing and growing a high-performing sales team.
