Role Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Branch Head to lead our Business Transportation Solutions Vertical in Hyderabad. This is a leadership role with full P&L accountability, responsible for managing branch operations, team performance, vendor and fleet operations, and driving business growth while ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & P&L Ownership:
- Drive branch profitability by effectively managing revenues, costs, and operational efficiency. Own and execute local business strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Branch Operations Management:
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations including vehicle dispatch, fleet uptime, maintenance coordination, and service delivery to ensure high-quality standards.
Team Development & Leadership:
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of operational and sales professionals. Ensure performance management, training, and goal alignment.
Vendor & Ground Operations Management:
- Manage vendor relationships for transportation and fleet services, ensuring SLA compliance, cost optimization, and seamless service delivery.
Business Development & Customer Engagement:
- Drive local business acquisition, customer relationship management, and retention strategies. Identify new revenue opportunities and expand client base.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and operational compliance standards. Manage branch audits and minimize operational risks.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including utilization, turnaround time, cost per km, customer satisfaction, and timely MIS reporting to management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership/branch management capacity.
- Proven experience in P&L management, team handling, and operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of vendor management, ground operations, and service-level agreements.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow customer accounts.
