Head Engineering and Inspection (Paradeep)

Role & responsibilities

Engineering Management

• Oversee plant engineering, maintenance and utility systems to ensure continuous and reliable plant operations.
• Lead equipment design improvements, modifications, and upgrades based on performance data and evolving technology.
• Drive cost-effective engineering solutions aligned with plant performance goals.

Inspection & Compliance

• Implement and manage inspection programs for static and rotating equipment as per statutory requirements
• Ensure timely certification, documentation, and compliance with local and international standards
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies for audits and inspections.

Maintenance Strategy

• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs using modern tools
• Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
• Manage annual plant turnarounds, shutdowns, and major maintenance projects.

Project Execution

• Support the planning and execution of capex and debottlenecking projects.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and commissioning teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Team Leadership

• Build and lead a high-performing engineering and inspection team.
• Train and mentor subordinates on safety, reliability, and technical best practices.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and safety.

Asset Integrity & Risk Management

• Ensure robust asset integrity and risk-based inspection programs are in place.
• Monitor equipment life cycles and recommend replacements/upgrades.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation and technical archive
