Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a talented and passionate UI Designer to craft exceptional user interfaces that provide 1st class user experiences for a SAAS platform. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for aesthetics, a strong understanding of user-centric design principles, and the ability to transform complex requirements into visually appealing and functional designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners, product analysts, BA, UX designers, and developers to understand user needs and product requirements.
- Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications that align with our brand identity and usability standards.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using the design tool Figma.
- Develop style guides, UI components, and design systems for scalable and consistent designs.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to refine and improve designs.
- Ensure responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility in all designs.
- Work closely with developers to ensure proper implementation of designs.
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate the latest best practices.
Must have:
- Bachelor s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- 3 -5 years of experience as a UI Designer in software development environments.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Sketch, or similar.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered designs and high-quality UI work.
- Good understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and usability best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Good to have
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development workflows is a plus.
