Junior Asset Manager

Junior Asset Manager / Analyst is part of the IT Asset Management (ITAM) team in managing and optimizing IT assets across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, asset types, and IT Service Management (ITSM) or IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles. They will be responsible for ensuring accurate asset tracking, cross-referencing data from various tools, and supporting asset lifecycle processes within the IT Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Asset Management & Data Analysis:

• ✓ Maintain and update the IT Asset Management (ITAM) system and Configuration Management Database.
• ✓ Track and manage IT assets across their lifecycle (procurement, deployment, maintenance, retirement).
• ✓ Create and share reports and dashboards . Ensure data integrity by cross-checking information from multiple sources, including ITAM platforms, procurement records, and financial systems and other IT sources.
• ✓ Analyse asset utilization and provide recommendations for optimization and cost savings.
• ✓ Support audits by providing reports and ensuring compliance with company policies.

• IT Infrastructure & ITSM Integration:
• ✓ Work with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms to track incidents, changes, and requests related to IT assets.
• ✓ Collaborate with local teams to ensure the process is applied
• ✓ Assist in the development of automation scripts and workflows to improve asset tracking and reconciliation. Reporting & Documentation:
• ✓ Generate regular reports on asset inventory, license compliance, and cost analysis.
• ✓ Maintain accurate documentation of asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.
• ✓ Maintain roles and access in the different ITAM tools
• ✓ Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and ensuring compliance.
• ✓ Assist in training end-users and stakeholders on IT asset management best practices

• IT ASSET MANAGEMENT

• ✓ ITAM Process mapping with key activities within Sodexo
• ✓ Asset Tracking
• ✓ Capacity Planning o Asset Planning, Reporting and MIS Analytics

Required Skills:

• ✓ Approx 10 Years of experience in IT/ Cloud/ Data Centre/ Network Telecom Infrastructure
• ✓ 1-3 years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Operations, or a related role.
• ✓ ITIL or ITAM certification is a plus but not mandatory
• ✓ Understand the main components of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud services.
• ✓ Knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Service Management (ITSM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) principles.
• ✓ Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service lifecycle concepts.
• ✓ Experience working with ITAM/ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Ivanti, or similar platforms is needed
• ✓ Strong analytical skills, including the ability to cross-reference data from multiple systems. Experience working with DATA analysis tools such as Power-BI or similar platforms a plus
• ✓ Good Excel skills are needed (V-lookup, Pivot table and formulas) Soft Skills:
