Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic MENA Host Operations & Growth Manager to spearhead our expansion into the Middle East and North Africa region. This strategic role combines operations management and growth initiatives for our live calling and gaming platform, where users engage in one-to-one audio/video calls with hosts, play interactive games, and participate in vibrant public rooms for gaming, music broadcasting, and social entertainment.
The ideal candidate will drive host acquisition, training, and retention across the MENA region while managing customer support operations to ensure seamless host onboarding and ongoing success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Host Acquisition & Management
- Recruit and hire hosts fluent in native Arabic dialects from key MENA countries including UAE (Dubai), Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, and other strategic markets
- Develop recruitment strategies tailored to each country's cultural nuances and language requirements
- Build and maintain a diverse host network representing major Arabic dialects and regional preferences
- Conduct host interviews and assessments to ensure quality and cultural fit
- Monitor host performance and implement improvement programs
Training & Development
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for new hosts on application rules, features, and best practices
- Create localized training materials in Arabic and relevant regional languages
- Conduct ongoing education sessions on platform updates, gaming features, and user engagement techniques
- Establish quality standards and ensure hosts meet platform guidelines and community standards
Operations Management
- Lead and manage a team of customer support executives responsible for host onboarding and query resolution
- Oversee the complete host onboarding process from recruitment to platform activation
- Implement operational workflows for efficient host management and support
- Monitor host satisfaction and resolve escalated issues promptly
- Develop SOPs for host management, training, and support processes
Growth & Retention
- Drive host earning optimization through strategic guidance and performance improvement initiatives
- Implement retention strategies to maintain high host satisfaction and reduce churn
- Analyze host performance data and provide insights for growth opportunities
- Develop incentive programs and promotional campaigns to boost host engagement
- Foster a positive host community through regular communication and feedback sessions
Regional Strategy & Communication
- Understand and leverage MENA user behavior patterns to optimize host-user matching and engagement
- Serve as the primary liaison between MENA operations and the Indian headquarters team
- Provide market insights and regional feedback to inform product and business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adapt platform features for MENA preferences
Experience & Education
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, business development, or growth roles
- Proven experience in team management and cross-cultural operations
- Background in digital platforms, entertainment, or social media preferred
Language & Cultural Requirements
- Native or fluent Arabic proficiency with understanding of major MENA dialects (Gulf, Levantine, Egyptian, Maghrebi)
- Excellent English communication skills for effective collaboration with Indian team
- Deep understanding of MENA cultural nuances and user behavior patterns
- Knowledge of local market dynamics in key countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran)

- Recruitment & Training: Proven ability to hire, train, and develop talent across different cultures
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze performance metrics and derive actionable insights

- Experience with live streaming platforms, social apps, or gaming applications

- Familiarity with Arabic content creation and social media trends in MENA
- Experience in international business expansion or emerging market operations
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for digital platforms in MENA countries
- Background in entertainment industry or creator economy
