Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, strategic, and target-oriented Ad Sales Professional who brings domain expertise in print and digital space selling, particularly with clients in the BFSI and NBFC sectors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an exceptional ability to engage clients, design value-based proposals, and convert opportunities into long-term commercial relationships. This is a quota-carrying role with high visibility and potential for growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement tactical and strategic sales plans to meet or exceed assigned revenue goals for both print and digital assets.
- Understand the BFSI/NBFC ecosystem to create tailored, category-specific advertising propositions.
- Maintain a consistent sales pipeline by identifying new prospects, nurturing leads, and closing deals through solution-based consultative selling.
Client Management
- Manage and grow a portfolio of top-tier clients in BFSI/NBFC categories.
- Cultivate senior-level relationships with marketing and media buying decision-makers.
- Organize and participate in client meetings, industry events, and advertising forums to enhance client engagement.
Campaign Planning & Delivery
- Collaborate with editorial, creative, and media operations teams to deliver high-impact campaigns.
- Align advertising offerings with customer needs across print (daily editions, supplements) and digital (web, mobile, and social).
- Ensure delivery and post-campaign performance tracking to maintain customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Market Research & Intelligence
- Track media spend trends, competitor performance, and emerging formats in financial advertising.
- Provide regular updates on market intelligence to influence ad product innovation and pricing strategies.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in space selling/ad sales with direct exposure to BFSI/NBFC clients.
- Strong industry connects and relationship-building skills with media agencies and direct advertisers in financial services.
- Proven ability to close mid-to-large value campaigns and retain key accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven media sales environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of ad revenue metrics (CPM, CPRP, CTR, etc.).
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of digital media platforms (Google Ads, Meta for Business, programmatic).
- Familiarity with CRM systems and ad sales software tools.
- Experience in integrated campaigns (print + digital + events) is a strong advantage.
