We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support our HR department, especially in payroll processing and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Support

• Assist in collecting and verifying attendance, leave, and overtime data.
• Support the payroll team in preparing salary sheets and processing monthly payroll.
• Maintain employee salary records and assist in resolving payroll-related queries.

Compliance & Documentation

• Help ensure timely submission of statutory returns (PF, ESIC, PT, etc.).
• Maintain compliance-related documentation and assist during audits or inspections.
• Keep track of labour law updates and assist in implementing necessary changes.

HR Operations

• Maintain and update employee records in HRMS and physical files.
• Assist in onboarding, documentation, and induction of new employees.
• Support in issuing letters (offer, appointment, increment, etc.) and maintaining HR templates.

General Support

• Coordinate with site HR teams for data collection and reporting.
• Assist in organizing training sessions, safety briefings, and employee engagement activities.
• Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and team.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Commerce, or related field.
• 13 years of experience in HR, preferably in payroll or compliance functions.
• Familiarity with labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and HR software (e.g., Zoho, SAP, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
