Senior Software Analyst - Tableau/Power BI (4-7 yrs)

Job Description :

Toolsvilla is looking for a Sr. Software Analyst who will be a key contributor to the success of our online business. This role involves a blend of technical expertise, data analysis, and strategic thinking. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying opportunities for improvement in our e-commerce systems, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and collaborating with development teams to implement solutions that enhance user experience, drive conversion, and support overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Analysis & Insights :

- Conduct in-depth analysis of e-commerce performance metrics, including website traffic, user behavior, sales trends etc.

- Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization and growth across the e-commerce platform.

System Optimization & Improvement :

- Lead and participate in A/B testing and other experimentation efforts to evaluate the impact of changes to the e-commerce platform and marketing campaigns.

- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues that impact e-commerce performance, such as site speed, checkout process, and mobile optimization.

- Recommend and implement data-driven strategies to improve website functionality, product

offerings, and marketing campaigns.

Project Management & Collaboration :

- Act as a liaison between business teams and development teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Provide guidance and support to team members.

Technical Proficiency :

- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-commerce, web analytics, and software development.

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing rigorous validation processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Marketing, or a

related field.

- 4+ years of experience in a Software Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role within an e-commerce environment.

- Strong proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).

- Expertise in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to extract meaningful patterns from large datasets.

- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.).

- Solid understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem, including payment gateways, order management systems, and CRM.

- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
