Role & responsibilities

Automation and Implementation

• Develop and support SAP functionality in the business, primarily in the area of FI/CO and PP
• Provide 1st and 2nd level SAP support for the local IT team
• Participate in systems and integration - design, analysis and testing
• Work closely with local and Corporate SAP analysts in issue identification and resolution
• Work closely with local and Corporate ABAP developers to identify reported system issues
• Provide assistance in the development of business requirements specifications
• Provide solutions or communicate and route issues to other appropriate IT groups including 2nd line support in Germany
• Requirement for occasional business travel
• Confer with internal staff and organizational units to analyze current operational procedures and processes, identify problems and paths to a solution, understanding of specific requirements such as forms of data input, how data will be summarized and used, formats for reports
• Analyze information problems, requested changes, and required modifications to develop appropriate business process solutions in a test environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required
• Knowledge of SAP R/3 PP, SD or Logistics is a must
• Minimum 8 years overall experience desired
• Significant depth of expertise and track record of accomplishments within IT functional areas
• Should have certifications in any of two or three- SAP, ITIL, APICS, PP, QM, PMI, ERP, S/4, S/4HANA, ECC
• Strong preference for someone within a systems development organization with significant exposure and understanding of SAP R/3 and SAP SCM tools
