No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Free cab - which is going to be end soon for day shifts Medical insurance Food- availability of meals at affordable price Work-life balance - team will understand your criticality or emergency situations. But some senior members will taunt you for that as well. Competency- Ericsson provides multiple courses on emerging technology for free (only for short beginners courses). If you want to be certified or take practical knowledge you have to please someone who can help you( if you are an average person) otherwise if you are smart and has beautiful looks your work will be done easily.

...that you will work hard and get what you want- you are being a fool in Ericsson. Salary hike - 0 - again not based on experience or work. They will always tell you that this time save your jobs. People are getting fired because of cost-cutting. And manager will give hike to the person they want to give. Working culture- Very toxic. Mental pressure of not being in the same race where others are licking and saying it's good bonding and we must maintain good relationship with others. All are lies it's the toxic culture of the company where senior members like this and working hard is only a myth. 24×7 availability - we are doing a job of rotational shift and that's fine because we get paid for that but expecting availability at any hour is not right. We spend long hours in front of screen but they don't respect your personal hours. If you are not picking call on your week off , it creats bad impact in front of manager and so with your salary hikes. Some managers have created such a bad environment like we are not working in an MNC but studying in Boarding school. They created excel for every task and gives points +-2,5,10. Manager had shifted freshers way of thinking from salary increment to total excel point. So they will work not for their increment but for manager increment 😂.

Salary on time but it is very less as we have to work more than 12-13 hours daily .

Mana ATT projects are really painful for all modeler. Any time ericsson can fire, No increment no promotion Only donkey work Who give hard work, he has to work more without any apraisal. Official time is 2pm but we need to login @10 am and finish at 11 pm every day
