GF salary Vs. My salary
Me and my gf have been dating for 5 years. Back in 2020, I started my career with a package of ₹5 LPA. Over the years, I’ve reached ₹22 LPA in 2025. She started her journey with ₹3 LPA(2020) and is now earning ₹8 LPA(2025). We’ve been in a live-in relationship for around 2 years, and the idea was to share expenses equally. But, equal sharing never really happened. If we go to a café she likes, especially with friends, I will pay the entire bill. We only split the house rent and grocery bills. I told her lots of time to cut down these costly cafe expenses or earn more money, increase your package, study and work hard, but.....she is now in her comfort zone. Being from a tech background, I have seen people upgrade their skills and package for a good life in metro cities. I am ready to support her in her studies, but she is like I am earning enough for myself.... No, you are not. I love her, but I don't know how to overcome this issue between us. Please suggest!

You're paid a salary to do a job. That's the only good thing. Smooth talking the right people gets you places. Even if you're incompetent at your job. Competence can survive here only if you choose to remain blind to the constant tense political atmosphere. You learn to never take a good company for granted after you work here.

Management is the worst. Even an instance of s*xual harrasment was brushed aside by all the women in upper management under the excuse 'Why didn't you inform us before?' I was actively discouraged from communicating things over email as it would be offical communication. They held back my bonus, and didn't even bother to inform me of the finer details that if I hadn't quit 1 day before, I would have received it. No, once i found out, they justified it. The TL was a piece of work. The CEO of this company is what no CEO should be. Arrogant, egoistic, and even jealous. Absolutely toxic atmosphere. Absolutely pathetic state of affairs here. DO NOT JOIN. Or join, take the money and lose your sanity. If you have worked in a semi decent environment, you're going to find it hard to take this organisation seriously. They only care about money.

Points to be noted 1. They only blame the lower employees 2.When ever there are escalations senior management plays blame game and puts it in the recruiters 3. They YELL at literally YELL at employees like WE ARE IN A BONDED LABOUR! 4.There is absolute chaos you may be working for one project in the morning and viola you are in a different one in the evening 5. There is no work life balance you are forced to work on Saturday and sometimes Sunday ( bonded labour) These were the likes :)
