In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. Salary given while recruitment is lucrative but job security is terrible. yearly appraisal depends on your manager only and not on performance..

Dislikes

Management puts terrible pressure and even passes personal comments and foul language. There is separate rule for people who do buttering up of boss and seperate rule for others who donot.

Initially they provide training for everything. Alternate Saturday off. Good salary structure.if you are in maintenance then the team is really great

People join because Schindler pays higher salary. And then most of them leave because of the worst work culture. Place where i worked the sales manager was abusive/foul mouthed. Learning is zero there in sales department. Few of the old people stayed there for long timeand now sitting at a higher position which they really do not deserve. Overall i must say dp not join the company unless you are jobless.
