No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

At the time of promotion- salary Revision was not good for above M1 level.. Suggestion Grade wise salary was differ, if possible make the grade wise same salary to the employees it's better for shinhan family .

Dislikes

Korean staff do not treat Indian staff well. They treat us like maids. The HR department also supports Korean people to protect their jobs. In fact, the government has implemented laws to regulate the treatment of foreign individuals who come to India for their enjoyment and to prevent mistreatment of Indian people.

MNC and asian trend-setter wave that's in India. On a serious note, I was always fascinated by the culture and work-life balance of an asian banks. It was then that I applied twice and got selected the 2nd time. So far my 1.6years of work experience is being excellent... busy, hard working, constant learning is what if you are looking for the Shinhan is the best place.
