No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Salary comes in time every month.

...s very much arogant and misbehaving with the people who is working under him. 3. Salary structure is very poor. Annual increment of the salary is also very poor specially in Purchase department. Only hod is getting the handsome hike and all the previlage 4. Promotion is not giving to their employees even after the completion of 10 years of their service periods. Career growth will be stuck. 5. Office environment is very bad and feel like a prisoner in the office. 6. Spy of the HOD's available in all the departments. 7. Interaction of the top management with their employees have not been taking place except the HOD's of the departments. 8. The top management see only those things which some clever HOD's trying to let them see. 9. According to the management only HOD's of the departments are intelligent and working efficiently even though they can't correspond assertively and draft a simple mail by themselves and rest people are........!!!!!! 10. The purchase HOD used to blame his subordinates for any discrepancies and not taking his responsibility even though putting his signature on to the purchase documents. 11. No appreciation and rewards given to the staffs. Appreciation And rewards only pays to the HOD's 12. You can't leave the office without taking permission from the purchase HOD even though the office time has got over. If you do so then next morning you would have been fired by the purchase HOD Note- All the comments are based on my personal experiences during working in Purchase department for a very long time.

salary is low, growth in salary is low, old employee give there work to you. if you are working in services sector and thinking to change in manufacturing company ,don't do that. the work in manufacturing is more difficult you don't like work atmosphere. its better to work in MNC company at least the working is proper.

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. Plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds and we work happily in collaboration. i also like the employee re- hire policy here.
