When working at small organization (i.e., less than 1000 employees), job role isn't fixed. This sometimes can turn as a benefit, as you tend to learn how the entire system works. But at times this seems a disaster when you've worked with large organization which are very process oriented.

Dislikes

Extreme work pressure, which is fine in a competitive market these days. But in return, employees either expect matching salary or job security and both are missing. Other organizations support employees with certification courses. Subex doesn't provide this option. Other organization benefits such as Leaves, health benefits / insurance, claims policies etc are poor. No transport provided.

Likes

Salary on time. Some good HR policies.

Dislikes

1. Clueless management. The share prices have dropped 80%, from Rs.45 to Rs.11 since the current management took over. 2. Everyone in the leadership team is about PR. They'll do anything for PR. They copy the 2001 Harvard Book "Markets of One" incorrectly as "Market of One". And repeat the foolish errors a hundred times. They also copy what others have done on Youtube AI channels, as "weekend projects". 3. Management team is having a luxurious life. Most of the sales team wasn't taken to the MWC, but they think it makes sense to spend lakhs on taking CFO, and Tech leadership. 4. The Tech Leadership is the worst I've seen in my career. They're again clueless, but good at politics and PR stunts. They won't even clear a tech lead interview at most other companies in Bangalore. 5. They long for PR so much that, recently an existing client contract was "renewed". And the social media post for this went with the photo of only the CEO. Hilarious!

Likes

The only positive thing about subex is it's work time flexibility. You can come anytime work for 7 hours and can leave.

Dislikes

Everything else. No hikes or appraisals. Not much to learn in terms of work. No bonus or anything. No work life balance

There are not a lot of things to like here. Perhaps some customers are good as they are associated with Subex for long time!

Dislikes

...politics. Nepotism. No skope for people with talent who can make the difference. Top management doesn't care as there is no accountability and they have secured long term contract for very high salary. Board is also equally corrupt and incapable! Company revenue is consistently going down year after year. No new logos of significance added in recent years. With the current board and management team, there is no way the company can revive!

One can learn a lot of things in terms of telecom domain knowledge. The company has potential to become a major player in telecom service domain.

Dislikes

...nical people have nearly no technical expertise that creates a cascading effect. Pay and promotion is much lower than market standards.
