GF salary Vs. My salary
Me and my gf have been dating for 5 years. Back in 2020, I started my career with a package of ₹5 LPA. Over the years, I’ve reached ₹22 LPA in 2025. She started her journey with ₹3 LPA(2020) and is now earning ₹8 LPA(2025). We’ve been in a live-in relationship for around 2 years, and the idea was to share expenses equally. But, equal sharing never really happened. If we go to a café she likes, especially with friends, I will pay the entire bill. We only split the house rent and grocery bills. I told her lots of time to cut down these costly cafe expenses or earn more money, increase your package, study and work hard, but.....she is now in her comfort zone. Being from a tech background, I have seen people upgrade their skills and package for a good life in metro cities. I am ready to support her in her studies, but she is like I am earning enough for myself.... No, you are not. I love her, but I don't know how to overcome this issue between us. Please suggest!

Gives salary likes labor class peoples. Salary comes on 10th of every month, although it is a IT sector. HRs are totally ill-behaved with no respect for employees even new joinees. Site-Head HR is just a sitting duck, works according to managers and TLs being a Head HR. Not At All A Great Place To Work...Only for those who thinks going office is like having picnic or potluck. And those (female employees) who thinks they have come to a fashion show with what not dresses...whereas, HRs during the interview mentioned they have strict dress code rules...Total Joke. No proper HR Introduction nor Induction. No Proper training...For E.g. A process have 5 Sub verticals and without proper training SMEs and TLs expects a new joinee to learn 5 sub verticals within 1-2 weeks. Which is humanly impossible. Useless 9.5 hours job...have not seen a IT like this one...having employees work for 9.5 hours. Sometimes employees have to do overtime without any OT pay..Due to high work volume...total unnecessary. mobile phones not allowed inside floor but pen and note book allowed...laughable...Personal bags we have to keep it with security against a token, as if I went inside spencers or big bazar. Lastly, If some one finish his/her job, he/she cannot leave their desk or even talk with other even inside same process vertical. All the TLs expect us to stare at monitor even if the per day targets are completed.

Dislikes

The team management is very poor. You only get recognition here if you are in the favouritism list or else they will make you an unnecessary target and defame you. Every team has their own policies no company and HR policies are followed here and even if you try to raise your voice you are moved out of the company. They do not value their employee. Work culture here is very poor and very toxic.

As for my experience I had one of the most toxic SME leading our team. She has been an employee for 8 years yet she was very manipulating, hungry for appreciation, not a team player, instead of guiding us she used to make us do the wrong things which created problem between agents and client and she used to take all the appreciation. Because of her around 10 people left. I tolerated her for for a year and then finally managed took some actions and transfer her under a different manager. The first year was literally hell for me yet I had to stay strong as all I wanted was to learn and grow and not to destroy my zeal of working which she was trying to do. I wish none of the other people had to ever face such a toxic person and I truly request the management to take strict actions and quick actions when you get complains regarding one person from a relative amount for people.

Dislikes

...are needing any help then you will not get that, neither from management not HR. Salary is also very bad. If you are in good terms with the manager/ operation then you might get any help otherwise they are useless. Managers and team leaders are very biased.
