No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

UPS as an organization. I am proud to be associated with a company that values integrity, excellence, and customer satisfaction. My grievance is specifically with the leadership dynamics within the Fraud Mitigation team supervisor Rohit Panchal

...ng your team mates to work on your tasks and showing management that you did it. seriously dude at least justify your salary. But still we were in a hope that our hard work will be recognised and some day it will be paid off. Because of us and our output to the process you got this position. You should be very much thankful to fraud folks. When real time and TL rollout position came. They should get this opportunity. but You have literally proven Hardwork and talent doesn't exist only nepotism, favouritism wins the race We have heard that you did not find any talent and deserving candidates in the team seriously. If No talent then how the process is running and how we set-up the process in pune. Firstly you see how much talent you have talentless creature. Honestly you should be shameful about your biased decision and your designation which you are holding all because she is your well known and close friend taking her and roaming in garden at P, being talent less not even 1% she fits in TL role don't know a single piece of fraud you gave this opportunity to her all because you got good company at P. Sorry to say you both fits under same category. Go and join spoken English classes, how to speak, respect employees, how to keep personal relationship aside from professionalism and lastly how to learn leadership qualities. And trust me, you And new TL don't deserve at this position. Because of you talentless people deserving candidates lose the opportunity and moral now you are asking offshore to train and babysitter your so-called new TL. Since it's your selection. So you should be responsible to train and baby sitter her rather than asking others help but unfortunately you also dont know single piece of fraud being fraud Supervisor and honestly you have ruined your reputation as now everyone got to know what you did and what's your character. I must admit, it’s incredibly disheartening to have had to work under a supervisor whose actions have deeply affected the team’s morale and unity. Many capable and committed team members have left the organization as a direct result of this environment. It’s even more troubling to hear statements like, “Let them go, we have over 100 applicants ready to join.” Such a mindset reflects a disregard for the experience, dedication and value that existing team members bring to the table. Comments like these not only undermine the contributions of the current team but also reflect a leadership attitude that lacks empathy and accountability. Despite these concerns, I want to emphasize that I continue to hold the utmost respect for UPS as an organization. I am proud to be associated with a company that values integrity, excellence and customer satisfaction. My grievance is specifically with the leadership dynamics within the Fraud Mitigation team. To my former and current teammates: I truly believe in your potential. I encourage you all to continue striving and growing—you deserve recognition and leadership that supports your journey. I sincerely request HR to look into this matter. I believe addressing these issues can help restore the team’s morale and ensure a more equitable and professional working environment

...ing. It's a Big No and a Suggestion to who ever is reading this not to join UPS. Salary- in each grade you get 5k hike and after increment 2k. Grade 6- 27k in hand Grade 7- 32k Grade 8- 37k and so on. The big fat package is a myth No hybrid culture. It's better to join a school rather than UPS.

Managers and above are not technical nor functional. Most of them has literally no idea about what's happening in the application. Hikes and promotions will be a joke. Not much support for upskilling. Most of the days we will have late night calls. Job security is below average.
