Executive - Distribution

Job description:-

1. Sales Function:-

• Monitoring the closing stock/ days Inventory of Branches on a regular basis.
• Co-ordinating with Production Dept & manufacturing plants regarding the availability of required products which are short.
• Follow up with depots for timely receipt of materials and other operational /logistics issues.
• Constantly reviewing the stock across all depots to maintain stock freshness and minimize generation of stock.
• Inter Depot stock transfers to maintain the sale.
• Identifying slow moving and obsolete stocks and taking necessary actions accordingly.
• Ensure timely disposal of damaged / expired stock.
• Handling Transit Damages Cases and Insurance Claims.

2. Samples:-

• Follow up of sample dispatches with factories and CWH s
• Follow up with all branches for excess and shortages of sample
• Interbranch transfer of samples
• Follow up of factory and third party status for production
• Coordinating with Marketing team to provide sample data ( Branch wise stock /

dispatches / issue to the field )

• Follow up with branches for near expiry sample to issue as per sample allocation

in the field in accordance with marketing team

• Record keeping of Sample stock received and dispatched. MIS of sample Allocation v/s Stock

3. Promotional Inputs:-

• Promo inputs lying closing balance intimation to Marketing on 5th of every month.
• Provide promo input dispatch / Stock / Issue details to marketing as per their requirements
• Follow up for fastest mode approval with Marketing team
• Check and reply for more than one month lying promo stock at Godown
• Coordinate with Godown and marketing for day to day activities
• Prepare product wise circular on every month as demanded by marketing team and send

it to all / selective branches

• Maintain register book to keep record of sample input

4. Others/Common Functions:-

• Knowledge of the SAP SD/MM Module and Microsoft Excel is added advantage and is negotiable.
• Scrutinizing Indents received from Branches.
• Monitoring LR updating and follow to be made with respective locations.
• MIS and Reports: Preparing monthly MIS reports related to Distribution.
